Cube: 3x3 Cube Solver Privacy Policy

The app works without an account. Signing in is required only when you submit a result to the Weekly Cube or Shared Cube public rankings.

• Sign in with Apple is the only sign-in method. We request no scopes, so we do not ask for and do not receive your name or email address.
• Our server issues its own user identifier and stores it together with the public nickname you choose. This identifier exists so that you are recognised as the same person on a new device, and it is stored linked to your records (declared on the App Store as User ID under Data Linked to You, purpose App Functionality).
• The user identifier is never sent to the analytics tool (Firebase Analytics).

When you sign in and submit a result, the following is sent to our server (api.musicflow.tokyo) and may be shown to other users together with your nickname.

• Your public nickname.
• Your solve record: the result (solved, failed and so on), time, move count, level, and the sequence of moves with their timing, plus the number of pauses, retries and undos.
• If you create a shared cube, the state of that cube.
• The app version and platform (for example iPhone or iPad).
• Nothing above leaves your device unless you submit a result.

The app uses the camera solely to read the colors on each face of a physical cube. Recognition and analysis happen on the device; camera footage is not sent to a server and is not used to identify people. You can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings.

To improve the app, we collect the following through Firebase Analytics (Google), in a form not linked to your identity.

• Usage Data (Product Interaction): which screens are opened and which features are used (scramble, auto-solve, camera scan, AI battle and so on). The purpose is Analytics.
• Device ID: an identifier generated by Firebase Analytics to distinguish devices. The purpose is Analytics.
• Neither is linked to your identity or to your account's user identifier.
• Neither is used for tracking. The app does not request tracking permission through App Tracking Transparency.

• Name or email address (not even through Sign in with Apple).
• Contacts, precise location, photos or audio.
• Camera footage itself.
• Purchase history, health information or advertising identifiers.

The third-party services the app uses are Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) and, for signing in, Sign in with Apple (Apple). The app shows no third-party advertising, performs no behavioral tracking, and does not sell or share personal information.

In-app purchases are processed through Apple's StoreKit, and we never receive your payment information.

• After signing in, you can delete your account from the Account row on the home screen. Deleting it ends every session and revokes the Sign in with Apple link.
• Your nickname is retired permanently and cannot be reused.
• Deleting the app from your device removes the information stored on it.
• Nicknames and results already published on public rankings (times, move counts) remain after you delete your account. We do not delete or anonymise them.
• Because a retired nickname can never be reused, those past records will never appear as someone else's.
• The Sign in with Apple identifier is erased from our servers as part of the deletion. From then on, the records that remain are not connected to anyone.
• Signing in again with the same Apple ID creates a new account, which is not linked to those past records.
• If you would like remaining records removed, please use the contact below and tell us the nickname you used.

This app is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
