Cube: 3x3 Cube Solver Privacy Policy

The app has no accounts and no sign-in of any kind. You can use all of it without either.

• You choose a public nickname only if you want to appear on the Weekly Cube or Shared Cube public rankings.
• When you choose a nickname, our server issues a random secret token for it. The app stores this token in your iCloud Keychain, which Apple syncs across your own devices, so you can keep using the same nickname on your other devices.
• We do not ask for and do not receive your name or email address.

When you submit a result, the following is sent to our server (api.musicflow.tokyo). Your nickname and solve record may be shown to other users.

• Your public nickname and its nickname identifier.
• The nickname's secret token, which proves the result comes from the same nickname.
• When you register a nickname, and when the app asks our server to issue its secret token, the app also sends an installation ID: a random identifier the app creates on your device. It is not tied to you as a person and is used only in connection with nickname registration.
• Your solve record: the result (solved, failed and so on), time, move count, level, and the sequence of moves with their timing, plus the number of pauses, retries and undos.
• If you create a shared cube, the state of that cube.
• The app version and platform (for example iPhone or iPad).
• Nothing above leaves your device except when you choose a nickname or submit a result.

The app uses the camera solely to read the colors on each face of a physical cube. Recognition and analysis happen on the device; camera footage is not sent to a server and is not used to identify people. You can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings.

To improve the app, we collect the following through Firebase Analytics (Google), in a form not linked to your identity.

• Usage Data (Product Interaction): which screens are opened and which features are used (scramble, auto-solve, camera scan, AI battle and so on). The purpose is Analytics.
• Device ID: an identifier generated by Firebase Analytics to distinguish devices. The purpose is Analytics.
• Neither is linked to your identity.
• Neither is used for tracking. The app does not request tracking permission through App Tracking Transparency.

• Name or email address (the app never asks for them).
• Contacts, precise location, photos or audio.
• Camera footage itself.
• Purchase history, health information or advertising identifiers.

The only third-party service the app uses is Firebase Analytics (Google LLC). The app shows no third-party advertising, performs no behavioral tracking, and does not sell or share personal information.

In-app purchases are processed through Apple's StoreKit, and we never receive your payment information.

• There are no accounts, so there is no account to delete.
• Deleting the app from your device removes the information stored on it.
• Your nickname's secret token stays in your iCloud Keychain even after you delete the app, so you can use the same nickname again on your devices.
• Nicknames and results already published on public rankings (times, move counts) remain there after you delete the app. If you would like a nickname and its records removed, please use the contact below and tell us the nickname.
• If you used Sign in with Apple in an earlier version (1.1.28–1.3.0): your records and nickname from that time remain on the rankings, and the app no longer uses that sign-in. To have those records removed, please use the contact below.

This app is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
